Jury Information

If you have received a jury summons, please note the date and time for jury service on your summons and report accordingly. Please report to the Troup County Government Center at 100 Ridley Avenue in downtown Lagrange. Pay for jury duty is $35 per day and there is no way to determine exactly how many days you will serve. Service is for the week you are summoned and only under the most unusual circumstances will you be required to serve beyond that week. Since you may experience wait time in the Jury Assembly Room or other waiting area, please feel free to bring a book or magazine to read while you wait. Also, a light jacket may be helpful. Vending machines are available outside the waiting area for your use. Please bring change for these machines.

If you have a legal reason to be excused or disqualified, please download and complete the Juror Affidavit form below and return it to the Troup County Clerk of Court's Office:

Should you have any questions or if any problems arise during your service as a juror, anyone in the Clerk of Court's Office will be glad to assist you. The Clerk of Court's Office is on the first floor of the Troup County Government Center. The office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
